BRYAN BAKER - Naval Architect

Bryan Baker joined Farr Yacht Design after graduating in 2004 with honors from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. Bryan also attended the College of Charleston and earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics with a minor concentration in mathematics. Bryan was a member of the design team for Oracle BMW Racing for the 32 nd America's Cup.

Bryan sailed competitively throughout college. He was member of the number one ranked collegiate varsity sailing team at the College of Charleston. Bryan competed in many regional and national championships on a variety of dinghies and keelboats. For the past five years, Bryan has been coaching advanced racing on his home shores of the Long Island Sound. He enjoyed the unique opportunity to grow up sailing with world-class sailors whom have inspired Bryan's competitive spirit and passion to design high performance yachts.
