Flagship of the Jeanneau line, the 52.2 offers new levels of performance and pleasure. Like all Jeanneau yachts, she is built for long life, value and performance.

This powerful, performance cruiser is a passage-maker that no other production yacht surpasses. From her superb Farr hull, to her luxurious layout, up to her phenomenal cockpit and gorgeous deck, the Jeanneau 52.2 delivers all the discerning differences that make for a truly great yacht. With a flexibility of interior arrangements, custom options and finishing details, the 52.2 can be constructed to the most particular requirements, all at a value level very favorably comparing to lesser craft.

The Jeanneau 52 is strongly built for offshore sailing. She incorporates a Kevlar reinforced hull, structural stringers, and longitudinals, (not pan linings) and perimeter bonded bulkheads, among other features, to insure the utmost in structural strength and rigidity. The Jeanneau represents your best choice in a moderate displacement, good all around performance cruiser.

On deck...

She features wide walk around areas with inboard shrouds promoting close sheeting for going to windward and easy access forward. Even the little details are taken care of, such as installing the windlass in a protected compartment to protect it from harmful salt water spray and to clear the deck area for easy sail handling. Cleats all have built in nylon rollers so dock lines can be led to winches for springing the boat into the dock in difficult situations. The cockpit is extremely generous with a table incorporated with the pedestal. All controls are led to the forward end of the cockpit. The twin wheels are a delight. They make for easy passage through to the swim platform where you'll find the crew trailing their feet in the water on a hot day, or swimming and lounging while at anchor. This setup also gets the skipper outboard where he can really see the sails (and see around them!) and he can even grab or toss a line during docking maneuvers. Sail handling is a breeze with included furling genoa and in-mast, furling mainsail. Even the sheet winches are located forward so that, with an autopilot, one person can completely manage and even tack the boat from the protection of a dodger. Now you can have many of the advantages of a pilot house with none of the disadvantages!

Main saloon...

Below, there is an oversized, wrap-around dinette with comfortable seating for up to 8. One of the best parts about the cabin of the Jeanneau is it's link to the outside world - the ventilation is superb!

The Navigation system...

This is a station worthy of the name. You have plenty of room for a host of electronics - there's even room to set up your computer and have a mini-office away from work! Also, plenty of room for today's modern navigator to bring his laptop and still have a wealth of equipment handy. The cell phone, Sat. phone, SSB, CD chart cartridges and everything else.

The Galley...

The galley is up on the port side. It includes double SS sinks, pressure H/C water, a gas stove with oven, hidden trash can and abundant storage. There is a separate refrigerator/freezer space with the refrigerator having both top and front access. Counter and service space is abundant and there is a separate glass and bottle locker (bar) in the main saloon forward of the lounge/dining area.

Sleeping cabins...

The forward cabin features a full sized berth, excellent ventilation and a vanity area with a wash basin. Optionally, you can have a second, full head located here, but this makes the normally generous cabin tight. Aft, you have the option of one or two full sized doubles. With the single, aft stateroom:

  • The berth is king sized
  • The head is larger with a separate shower area
  • You gain a large, cockpit accessible, locker behind the head

Custom options...

The 52 has provisions for considerable customization. Whether you're planning to live aboard for extended periods of time, and need an office aboard, or you want the convenience of an on-board laundry facility, we can accommodate you.
